Pablo Perez Chorot was a Cuban musician born on November 18, 1911, in Cárdenas. He was a versatile artist known for playing the bass, violin, and percussion, as well as being a singer and composer. He was also known by the names Pablo Chorot and Pedro Pablo Pérez in Cuba. In 1965, he moved to California, where he performed with notable musicians such as Abelardito Valdés, Orquesta Havana Cubans Boy, and Armando Orefiche. He passed away on April 2, 2000, in Santa Mónica, California.
