Pandero is a Dutch Hindustanian band formed in 1974 by Edgard Panday after he left The Indian Soul Brothers. The name "Pandero" is a variation of Panday's name. The original lineup included members Michel Lachman (singer), Maikel Boys, Edje Gafoerkhan, Robby Abdoelhak (singer), and Willem Ghisaidoebe (organist). In 1975, the band expanded to include two brass players: Eric Baldonero (trumpeter) and George Scheermaker (saxophone). Over time, additional members joined, including Naldo, Kries Malhoe, Gerda Abdoelhak, and Margaretha Panday.
