Panx Romana is a political punk rock band formed in April 1982 in Athens, Greece. The members previously participated in other groups such as Stress, TVC, and Video Games before coming together to form Panx Romana. They made their live debut in 1984 at Kyttaro Club in Athens and recorded their first track that same year for the compilation “Disruption of the Common Peace.” Their first demo cassette was recorded in October 1985, followed by several full-length albums, including "Children at Arms” (1987), “Intelligent Cities” (1989), “Break the Line” (1993), “Nazis Raus” (1994 DIY), “Diagogi Kosmia” (1996), “Kratos Kleiston” (1999), and “Pax Americana” (2016). The band has also contributed to various compilations in Greece and internationally. Each album release was accompanied by an issue of the 'Yellow Press' fanzine, edited by vocalist Frank, which addressed issues such as refugeeism, racism, xenophobia, substance addiction, and animal exploitation. Panx Romana has performed live at various venues, including a notable concert on April 20, 1986, at Rodeo Club in Athens, and on February 1, 1987, at Cat's Meaw Club.
