Paolo Apollo Negri is a renowned Hammond organ player and songwriter, recognized for his aggressive and distinctive style that blends influences from past masters with a unique vision for the future. He began his career in the early 1990s and has gained international acclaim as one of the most important players of the Hammond organ. Since 1997, Paolo has been a key member of The Link Quartet, contributing significantly to the band's success both live and in studio recordings. He has established himself as an eclectic session musician, participating in over 300 albums across various musical styles. Additionally, he was a central member and songwriter for Wicked Minds from 2000 to 2013 and has collaborated with numerous other bands, including Black Widow, Ray Daytona & Googoobombos, Mastica, Modulo 5, Low Fidelity Jet-Set Orchestra, and Fred Leslie’s Missing Link. In his solo career, Paolo has explored different musical genres, delving into jazz, fusion, and funk while honing his skills on the electric piano and synthesizers. His passion for vintage keyboards and innovative arrangements has led him to collaborate with and endorse well-known brands such as Waldorf, Studiologic, and Arturia.
