John Touwslager, better known as Papa Touwtjie (21 December 1968 - 9 June 2005), was a Surinamese dancehall artist, rapper, and singer. He was the first rapper from Suriname to perform in the Sranantongo language and is considered one of the most influential reggae artists in the country.
