Paprika Soul is a collaboration between Andrew Spiller, also known as Andy Spiller, and Alan Barnes, who is also known as Jazzdubossa. Andrew Spiller is an engineer, producer, audio-video producer, programmer, remixer, keyboard player, and songwriter. Alan Barnes is a producer, writer, DJ, remixer, conga player, EDM producer, and record label owner, with his labels being Alan Barnes Productions and Koolest Blue Recordings. The duo began working together in 1992, with their first release titled "He Loves You." Andrew Hughes, an EDM producer, also contributed to this release and was initially part of Paprika Soul.
