Their initial releases on the hardcore label Moving Shadow led them to establish their own labels. In 1996, Paradox adopted two alter-ego aliases, Alaska and Paradox, which propelled him into the spotlight with a series of 12" releases on notable labels such as Renegade Hardware, CIA, Certificate 18, and Reinforced Records. Paradox became recognized for his abstract atmospherics and intricate breaks, while his Alaska alias focused on ambient productions, releasing music on labels like Good Looking and Renegade Recordings. He has a unique style that channels the funk of 70s breakbeats, emphasizing the raw elements of drum and bass. His work has extended beyond the UK drum and bass scene, including collaborations with renowned musicians like Herbie Hancock and Bernie Worrell, and production credits for ESPN and Sony Playstation games. In 2011, Paradox released the Ramifications LP, marking his 9th vinyl studio album, which featured stunning packaging and additional tracks for aspiring producers. When not in the studio, he tours globally, performing live shows with his Amiga, synths, and mic, reconstructing tracks and editing beats on the fly. With over 200 live PAs across Australia, the USA, Asia, and Europe, he continues to innovate within the genre. As of
