Parasite Jazz is a French non-jazz trio formed by Tamara Goukassova, Théo Delaunay, and Alexandre Larcier, known for their unique blend of non-simple music that spans various genres, including undecided space rock, motorik-infused dub, medieval folk, and cartoon trance, all infused with psychedelia and half-improvisation. The project emerged in 2016 during a performance on Simple Music TV and evolved into a trio by the end of 2020 in Marseille, featuring members Axel Larsen, Constance Chlore, and Tamara Goukassova. In the summer of 2021, they expanded to a sextet during the Illusio festival. The group has since performed with a shifting lineup, occasionally including musicians like Kyle Knapp, Luca Retraite, and Luna Cedrón, leading to spontaneous musical experiences.
