Paris Grey, born Shanna Jackson on November 5, 1965, in Glencoe, Illinois, USA, is an American singer known for her contributions to the music scene. Initially performing gospel music, she gained prominence through her collaboration with a Detroit-based techno music producer. This partnership achieved international crossover success in the late 1980s and early 1990s, blending Detroit Techno and Garage House in a unique way. Grey has recorded three albums, a Detroit Techno compilation album, and an extended remixes collection. Prior to her work with the producer, she released the Chicago House 12-inch club hit "Don't Make Me Jack (Tonite I Wanna House You)."
