Pas De Deux was an avant-pop trio from Belgium that formed in the early 1980s. They released a mini-album and several singles between 1982 and 1983. The group represented Belgium in the 1983 Eurovision Song Contest, where they finished third from last. Their unconventional song, "Rendez-vous," which featured a simple tune and a single line of lyrics, did not resonate with the mainstream audience during the preselections. Despite this, "Rendez-vous" became a summer hit in Belgium that year. In recent years, their music has experienced a resurgence in popularity, highlighted by a 2011 compilation and the release of a "complete collection" in 2019 and 2022.
