Pascoal Meirelles is a Brazilian drummer born in 1944. He began his musical career playing with the "Tempo Trio" and various other musicians before pursuing further studies at Berklee. Notably, he performed with Antonio Carlos Jobim on the album "Terra Brasilis." Upon returning to Brazil in the early 1980s, he played with a band and founded the instrumental group "Cama de Gato." In 1981, he released his first solo album, "Considerações a respeito," followed by "Tambá" in 1983 and "Anna" in 1987, the latter dedicated to his first daughter.
