Pasteur Lappé is a Cameroonian funk master born in 1953 in Douala. He moved to Paris in the late 70s to study journalism but soon immersed himself in music, befriending notable African music stars, including Fela Kuti. Lappé is recognized for founding the "Sekele Movement," which blends funk, disco, afrobeat, reggae, soul, and RnB. His most prolific years were from 1979 to 1981, during which he released his three flagship albums.
