Jens Paulsen, known by his alias "Patchwork," grew up with a background in classical and folk guitar but chose a different musical path. As a solo artist, he embodies a trio of "me, myself and I," blending ambient electronic and psychedelic overtones that align with the "new age" genre, a term Paulsen finds taboo. His unique sound is showcased in his self-titled debut album released in 1997, followed by "Odeon" in 1998 and "Marsmellow" in 1999. In mid-2000, he released "Diorama."
