Patti LaBelle & The Bluebelles was a musical group that included Patti LaBelle and Cindy Birdsong, both of whom were formerly part of the Ordettes, along with Nona Hendryx and Sarah Dash. Birdsong left the group to replace Florence Ballard in another act, after which the remaining members changed the group's name, transforming themselves into futuristic disco-funk divas.
