Paul DeMarinis is a saxophonist-composer and the director of the jazz department at Webster University. He has been a significant figure in St. Louis music since the late 1970s. A graduate of University City High School and Indiana University, DeMarinis is also a composer, author, poet, and saxophone player for the St. Louis Symphony.
