Paul Jackson Jr. is a versatile musician known primarily as a guitarist, but he also plays bass and keyboards and works as a producer. Born on December 30, 1959, in Los Angeles, USA, he became one of the most sought-after session guitarists in the L.A. music scene during the 1970s and 1980s. Throughout his career, Jackson has collaborated with a wide array of artists, including Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Barbra Streisand, Patti LaBelle, and many others, making him one of the most recorded guitarists in history. Jackson's early career in entertainment began at the age of 7 when he acted in various television shows, commercials, and films, such as "Good Times" and "The Sting." He took up the guitar at the age of 12, joining a family band with his siblings and mother. At 18, he broke into the Los Angeles studio scene, contributing his talents to numerous high-profile projects. In 2010, Jackson joined "The Tonight Show Band" under the direction of Rickey Minor. His television credits include "American Idol," "America's Got Talent," "The Grammys," and "Celebrity Duets."
