Paula Perry is a female hip-hop MC hailing from Brooklyn, NY. She first gained recognition as a member of Masta Ace, INC, where she established herself as more than just a token female member of the crew. Paula launched her solo career with the debut single "Paula's Jam," which became a significant underground hit. Following that success, she released several singles, including "Extra, Extra," produced by Premier. Although she later signed with Motown Records, her album, Tales From Fort Knox, unfortunately, got lost in the system.
