Pauline Anna Strom (1946–2020) was a visionary American electronic composer whose pioneering work in the 1980s carved out a unique space in ambient and new-age music. Blind from birth, she composed richly textured, deeply spiritual soundscapes using analog synthesizers from her San Francisco home. Her albums, including *Trans-Millenia Consort* and *Spectre*, explored time, consciousness, and inner worlds. After a long hiatus, Strom returned with the acclaimed *Angel Tears in Sunlight* (2021), reaffirming her place as a profoundly original voice in electronic music history.
