Paw was a rock band from Lawrence, Kansas, USA, active from 1991 to 2000. They gained attention during the height of grunge popularity when A&M Records signed them and released their most successful album, "Dragline," in 1993. However, their follow-up album, "Death to Traitors," did not achieve commercial success, leading to the band being dropped by the label in 1996. Their final release was the mini-album "Home is a Strange Place," which came out on Koch Records in 2000, after which they disbanded. Former members of Paw continue to be involved in various musical projects, including The Diamond Heart Club and The New Franklin Panthers.
