PCP, or Planet Core Productions, was a hardcore techno production team and label based in Frankfurt am Main, founded in 1989 by Thorsten Lambart and Marc Trauner. The label gave rise to numerous aliases and sublabels, with the main label being particularly notable. PCP disbanded in late 1996. In addition to their production work, they had a band project also named "PCP," which performed live acts from 1993 to 1995. These performances featured varying line-ups and included tracks from other artists associated with their labels, but primarily showcased their own exclusive and mostly unreleased material. After 1996, live sets in the Netherlands featuring an MC were often advertised as being by PCP, despite the artists having no intention of being credited as such.
