Johnny "Peanuts" Wilson was born on November 29, 1935, in Riversville, West Virginia, USA, and he passed away in September 1980. Raised in Odessa, Texas, he was a member of Roy Orbison's group, The Teen Kings, in 1956. Wilson released two singles of his own, one in 1957 and another in 1963, but neither achieved commercial success. Later in his career, he became a country music songwriter.
