Pedro Ruy-Blas is a Spanish songwriter and singer known for his contributions to music and theater. He began his career with "Los Grimm" before joining "Los Canarios" in 1968, replacing Teddy Bautista. As a solo artist, he achieved success with the pop single "A los que hirió el amor," which reached number one in Spain in 1970. In 1977, he founded the jazz band "Dolores" and collaborated with renowned flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucía. Pedro played the role of Judas Iscariote in the Spanish production of "J.C. Superstar" in 1984 and performed 546 times as Jean Valjean in "Les Miserables" in Madrid in 1992. He portrayed Francisco de Goya in the Spanish musical "La Maja De Goya" in 1996 and took on the role of Old Deuteronomy in the Spanish production of "Cats" in 2005.
