Pedro Sertanejo was a Brazilian accordion player and composer, born on April 26, 1927, in Euclides da Cunha, Bahia, Brazil. He passed away on January 3, 1997, in São Paulo, São Paulo, at the age of 69. A notable figure in the music scene, he was the founder of Gravadora, a record label established in 1964. Additionally, he opened "Forró do Pedro Sertanejo," the first and longest surviving Forró house in São Paulo, in 1965, which operated until 1992 at Rua Catumbi 183, Belenzinho, São Paulo. He was also the father of two children.
