M People is an English dance band formed in 1990 in Manchester. According to Billboard, they are the 83rd most successful dance act of all time. The "M" in "M People" is derived from the name of the group's founder. M People won the BRIT Music Award for "Best British Dance Act" in both 1994 and 1995.
