Pepe Castillo is a Puerto Rican musician born in 1943 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He is known for his work as an arranger and as a player of the accordion and congas. In 1974, he relocated to New York City, where he served as a pianist with Rafael Cortijo y Su Combo. Additionally, he held the position of musical director and dean of music at the Museo del Barrio's School for the Arts. It is important to note that he should not be confused with the Mexican orchestra conductor and composer active in the 1950s and 1960s.
