Percy Wiggins is an American soul and gospel singer born in Memphis. At the age of 13, he began singing with The New Rival Gospel Singers, alongside his brother and sister, Maxine Wiggins. He was introduced to a music industry figure who helped him get signed in 1966, followed by additional signings in 1967 and 1968.
