Pescado Rabioso was an Argentine rock band formed in 1971 by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Luis Alberto Spinetta, following his time with Almendra. The group became a cornerstone of the early 1970s Argentine rock scene, blending psychedelic rock, blues, and introspective lyricism with poetic depth. Though short-lived, Pescado Rabioso produced some of Latin America’s most influential albums, including *Artaud* (credited to the band but largely a Spinetta solo work), leaving an enduring legacy that continues to inspire generations of musicians across Spanish-speaking rock.
