Pete Seeger

Pete Seeger was an American folk singer and songwriter, born on May 3, 1919, in Manhattan, New York, USA. He passed away at the age of 94 due to natural causes on January 27, 2014, also in Manhattan, New York. Seeger was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1972 and into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 as an Early Influence.
