Peter De Angelis was a US songwriter, producer, and arranger born on June 18, 1929, in Southern Philadelphia. He passed away on September 1, 1982. De Angelis collaborated extensively with a partner with whom he co-founded a successful writing duo, becoming one of the most successful songwriting teams of the 1960s.
