Peter King was a British alto and soprano saxophonist, composer, and arranger, born on 11 August 1940 in Kingston-upon-Thames, London, England. He passed away on 23 August 2020 in Putney, London, at the age of 80. He is not to be confused with another individual of the same name, a saxophonist and co-owner of a jazz club, who lived from 1929 to 2009.
