Peter Principle, born Peter Principle Dachert on December 5, 1954, in Queens, New York City, was the bassist and co-composer for the band Tuxedomoon. He passed away on July 17, 2017, at the age of 62, in his room at Les Ateliers Claus in Brussels, where Tuxedomoon was preparing for a new tour and new music. His death was attributed to an apparent heart attack or stroke.
