Adolphe Claude Moundi, known by his stage name Petit Pays, was born on June 5, 1967, in Douala, Cameroon. He is a renowned singer and songwriter, celebrated for his contributions to the music scene in Cameroon. Petit Pays, nicknamed Le Turbo d'Afrique, Lawyer for Women, Rabba Rabbi, Effatta, and King of Makossa Love, performs in Douala, French, and pidgin, primarily in the genres of makossa and zouk, which he refers to as Makossa Love. His name, Petit-Pays, reflects his childhood nickname "Petit" and the literal translation of his last name "Moundi." Over his career, he has released more than 38 albums, with his latest, Wala Longo'o, released in January 2019.
