Phantom Horse is a Hamburg/Berlin-based duo formed in 2012, consisting of Ulf Schütte and Niklas Dommaschk. They debuted with a self-titled LP album, showcasing their unique sound that blends intricate, polyrhythmic music influenced by early krautrock, electronica, 1960-70s minimalism, and unconventional compositions. The duo utilizes modular and analogue synthesizers, antique drum machines, electric piano, guitar, tape effects, and various percussion devices to create their music. In 2015, Phantom Horse released their second album as a limited edition LP.
