Phil Spector was an American record producer, songwriter, and musician known for his innovative production techniques and his role in the development of the "Wall of Sound" music production style. He was born on December 26, 1939, and passed away on January 16, 2021. Spector produced numerous hit records in the 1960s and worked with various artists, including The Ronettes, The Crystals, and The Righteous Brothers. His influence on pop music is significant, but his later life was marked by legal troubles, including a conviction for murder.
