Philipp Friedrich Boddecker was a German composer and organist, born on August 5, 1607, in Hagenau, Germany. He served as the organist at the Stiftskirche and was involved in a contentious dispute with the Württemberg Court. He passed away on October 8, 1683, in Stuttgart, Germany. His brother, David Böddecker, was a cornettist.
