Philip "Tuba Phil" Frazier is a co-founder of a band formed in 1983 in New Orleans' Tremé neighborhood. As the band's tuba player, he played a significant role in creating their signature blend of traditional brass band music with funk, jazz, and hip-hop, which has influenced the city's music scene. Under his leadership, the band gained global recognition, winning a Grammy in 2012, while remaining true to their roots in New Orleans culture. He is also the brother of a drummer and fellow co-founder of Rebirth.
