Philly Devotions is a vocal quartet known for their Philly-soul and disco sound, formed in Philadelphia. They are recognized for their strong male vocal harmonies, which are perfectly complemented by the proto-disco production style of their producer and mix master. Notably, they made history as the first group to release a 12" single with "I Just Can't Make It" on Columbia in October 1975. Among their mid-1970s recordings is a cover of the classic standard "Hurt So Bad."
