Pierce the Veil is an American post-hardcore band formed in 2007 in San Diego, California. The band was created by brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes, along with Tony Perry and Jaime Preciado. Vic Fuentes serves as the lead vocalist and plays rhythm and lead guitar, as well as keyboards, since the band's inception. Tony Perry has been the lead guitarist since 2007, and Jaime Preciado has contributed as the bassist and backing vocalist since the same year. Mike Fuentes was the drummer and provided backing vocals from 2006 until 2017.
