Plaid is a London duo that began recording under this name while still members of another group. Their first album was released in 1991. In 1995, Ed and Andy concluded their five-year collaboration with The Black Dog and subsequently left the group. That same year, Plaid released an EP and shifted their focus to their music full-time.
