Pockets is a soul funk disco group that was formed in 1975 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, and later relocated to Los Angeles. They were known as proteges of an unspecified entity. The lineup of Pockets includes Albert McKinney on keyboards and vocals, Charles Williams on trumpet, vocals, and percussion, Gary Grainger on bass and vocals, Glenn Grainger on trumpet (though he never recorded with the group), George Gray on drums, vocals, and percussion, Irving Madison on sax, vocals, and percussion, Jacob Sheffer on guitar and percussion, Kevin Barnes on trombone, vocals, and percussion, and Larry Jacobs on vocals and percussion.
