Polido is a Portuguese musician and artist from Marinha Grande, currently residing in Lisbon. His work is rooted in a materialist approach to sound, exploring themes of cultural memory, tradition, technology, music history, and socio-politics. Polido's music conveys these concepts through a personal vocabulary, creating surreal narratives for concrete spaces. His artistic expression manifests in various forms, including concerts, mixes, texts, talks, listening sessions, and exhibitions at notable venues such as Batalha - Centro de Cinema, ICA London, the 12th Berlin Biennale, MAAT, Sismógrafo*, NTS Radio, Sonsbeek 20->24*, Ruhr Ding*, and Spirit Shop.
