Pompidoo is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall deejay who gained popularity in Jamaica during the late 1980s. Known for his unique gravelly voice, he released a series of singles that showcased his style. Pompidoo began his career deejaying on the Killamanjaro soundsystem in early 1983, often engaging in lyrical sparring with fellow deejays. He should not be confused with similarly named artists.
