The Pop Group is a post-punk band from Bristol, England, formed in 1977 and disbanded in 1980. They reformed for a tour in 2010 and released new material in 2015-16. In recognition of the fortieth anniversary of their debut album, Y, they released an album each of rarities, live takes, and remixes between 2019 and 2021. A tour was planned in support of this campaign for 2020 but was cancelled due to the SARS-CoV2 pandemic. Tragically, both Stewart and Waddington passed away in 2023, effectively bringing the group's second phase to an end.
