PREP is a London-based collective formed by four talented artists with impressive backgrounds in music. The group initially came together as a placeholder alias, featuring keyboard player Llywelyn Ap Myrddin, who has found success as a classical composer with a passion for electronic music. He collaborated with drummer and house music producer Guillaume Jambel, known as GIOM, who has headlined at Fabric and toured with George Fitzgerald. Their work caught the attention of Grammy-nominated producer Dan Radclyffe, recognized for his contributions to artists like Drake and AlunaGeorge. The lineup was completed by singer Tom Havelock, who has co-written for various projects alongside Radclyffe, including work with Riton, Sinead Hartnett, and Ray BLK. Havelock's captivating falsetto brought the track 'Cheapest Flight' to life during the band's first rehearsal. PREP's debut EP, 'Futures,' produced four Hype Machine hits, an AlunaGeorge remix, and garnered radio play on platforms such as Radio 1Xtra and Beats 1, accumulating over 7 million streams online. The success of this release also led to their remix of the Snakehips hit 'All My Friends (feat. Chance The Rapper and Tinashe).'
