Preservation, known for his extensive career as a DJ and producer spanning over 20 years, has collaborated with a diverse range of artists. As the tour DJ for Yasiin Bey (formerly Mos Def), he has performed worldwide. His production credits include work with notable figures such as Ka, billy woods, Mach-Hommy, RZA, GZA, Raekwon, U-God, MF Doom, Sean Price, KRS-One, Lord Jamar, Ed O.G., Roc Marciano, Your Old Droog, Jean Grae, Aesop Rock, Chris Dave, K'naan, Jim Jarmusch, and Sonic Sum. Preservation's collaboration with Brownsville MC Ka on the critically acclaimed album "Days with Dr. Yen Lo" earned a spot at #9 on Rolling Stone's Best Hip-Hop Albums of 2015. His production contributions to Yasiin Bey include tracks on the Grammy-nominated album "The Ecstatic," such as "Quiet Dog Bite Hard," "Priority," and "No hay nada mas," along with five tracks on "True Magic." Additionally, he remixed 15 tracks for "The Ecstatic" and co-wrote the global hit "Wavin' Flag" by K’naan.
