Prince Eyango, born Ndedi Eyango on April 27, 1960, in Nkongsamba, is a renowned Cameroonian singer, guitar player, songwriter, performer, and record producer. Known as KING MOUAN NKUM, Le Roi Des Montages, he is the third child in the Eyango family. He made his professional debut in 1983 and by 1986, he had developed a unique musical style that blends pop with traditional Cameroonian Makossa music. The son of a pastor, Eyango performs in French, Pidgin English, Douala, and Mbo'o languages. His biggest hit earned him the title of Best Song of the Year in 1987, along with accolades for Best Selling Album of the Year and the Cameroonian "Best Artist of the Year Award."
