Project Pat, born Patrick Stephen Houston, is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee, and the older brother of Juicy J, co-founder of Three 6 Mafia. He gained mainstream recognition in 1999 with his album "Ghetty Green" and its singles. The following year, he contributed the hook to Three 6 Mafia's "Sippin' on Some Sizzurp" and released his breakthrough album, "Mista Don't Play: Everythangs Workin'," which became the most successful album for an independent artist on the Hypnotize Minds label. In 2001, Project Pat was arrested for parole violation after firearms were found in his vehicle, leading to a four-year prison sentence for being a felon in possession of a firearm. His third album, "Layin' Da Smack Down," was released during his incarceration. In late 2009, he began efforts to establish a new record label called D-Brady Ent.
