Pseudocode was a Belgian electronic and experimental band active from 1979 to 1982. The group consisted of members Xavier Stenmans (Xavier S.), Alain Neffe, and Guy Marc Hinant. Alain Neffe is known for founding Insane Music, one of the first significant underground tape labels in Europe, while Guy Marc Hinant co-founded the "Sub Rosa" label. Xavier S. is a radio show host on Belgian national radio. The band described their music as "potlatch music," referring to it as emotional sounds rather than traditional musicianship.
