Pulshar is a musical project formed by Pablo Bolivar and Sergio Sainz Vidal, also known as Aphro, which has been captivating audiences since their debut EP "Babylon Fall Collection" in 2007. This collection features four tracks that showcase free-floating melodies influenced by Rhythm & Sound dub techno, infused with Jamaican elements and a soulful sensibility. The EP was later complemented by the LP "Brotherhood," released in 2008 under Phonobox, which includes various remixes, notably "Nospheratu," reworked by Echospace. Their evolving sound caught the attention of the German label Desolat, leading to the release of their next album "Inside" in 2010. This album marked a significant evolution in their style, maintaining the dub pulse while expanding the personality of each track. The diversity of "Inside" incorporates reggae, electronica, deep house, and downtempo influences, evident in tracks like "Empty Suitcase," "Distant Fire," and "California State of Mind." The subsequent tour for "Inside" introduced the duo to theaters and chill zones, inspiring them to create "Europe Ist Eine Insel/Europe is an island" in 2012, a five-act piece for theatrical performance released on their own label, Avantroots. This was followed by the "Different Drum" EP in 2013, "Blood and Mathematics" LP in 2014, "Undercover" EP in collaboration with Rod Modell (Deepchord)
