Puracane is a collaborative project formed by composer/programmer David Biegel and singer/lyricist Ali Rogers. Their sound is heavily influenced by British trip-hop, although it also incorporates elements of rock and R&B grooves. While Rogers' vocal style may evoke comparisons to Bjork, her working-class English drawl adds a distinctive grit to their music.
